The Beginning

It all began with an idea. A couple of friends from film school had just finished shooting their short film, and the excitement was palpable. We felt as though it was our time to conquer the cinematic world—like we were saying, 'Watch out, world! You are not ready for what is coming.' This was around December 2022. We were determined not to let our hard work go unnoticed.

After all, the struggles we faced during production were a story for another day, but they fueled our resolve. We knew our film, produced on a tight budget, deserved an audience and a place to shine.

Fast forward to January 2023, and we brainstormed the idea of a film screening. Yet, we quickly realized that one short film alone could not fill a cinema. This is when we decided to expand our vision and reach out to other creators who shared our enthusiasm. We successfully gathered a collection of five short films, and our excitement soared to new heights.

We settled on a date: February 17, 2023. This marked the occasion of our very first screening. If someone had asked us how far we saw ourselves taking this endeavor at that moment, we wouldn’t have known. We were simply focused on celebrating the creativity that surrounded us, and as we reflected, we felt this was just the beginning.
