Our Story: From a Dream to a Movement.
Mini Movie Marathon began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a platform for East African filmmakers to share their stories with the world. Founded by a group of film school graduates in 2023, we were driven by a passion for cinema and a desire to showcase the incredible talent within our community, our drive being One Night One Cinema, Many Shorts. What started as a small screening among friends and family has grown into a vibrant celebration of film, connecting filmmakers with audiences in Nairobi and beyond.
